CURBSIDE SHIPMENT:

Our shipment charge covers curbside delivery – meaning the goods will be unloaded at the end of your driveway and it is the customers responsibility to bring all goods inside. 

 

Once the shipment is received, there are some guidelines to follow upon delivery:

 

The shipment should always be inspected immediately upon delivery by recipient. If there are any damages noticed, the recipient should bring it to the shipper's attention, and then take the following steps:

 

FOR VISIBLE DAMAGE:

If the shipment shows visible signs of damage, the recipient should note the description of the damage and take pictures if possible.  Notate the damages on the shipper's receipt BEFORE SIGNING.

 

FOR CONCEALED DAMAGE:

Aside from visible damage, the recipient should also look for signs of concealed damage. Please note that although damages may appear minimal on the box, the inner contents of the package could be severely damaged. If any item(s) were received damaged, the recipient needs to  report it to us within 2 days of receipt of the merchandise to ensure proper steps can be taken to remedy the situation. Failure to do so will release the Lakeland Baby Online from all liability.

 

Damages that occur in transit are unfortunate and we do sincerely apologize.  Our guidelines are in place to protect everyone involved. Thank you!
